Well! It's been a busy week in the household. I have enjoyed reading everyone as I could get to the computer. But typing has been more problematic. I suffer from non-painting-guilt. *sheepish smile* I don't paint (when I try, I wear more than the wall. I can walk by a "wet paint" sign and come away with streaks. seriously) and so I am in charge of keeping Scooter as paint-free as possible. I've done pretty well.

My house doesn't smell quite so much like American Tradition, today, but that will change. We have one more room to go...my room. lol Maybe I should follow Cordelia's advice and use vanilla in what's left of the paint to take away the smell. If I slip it in when Spousal Unit isn't looking...it might work. ;-) Don't know how he'd take to the addition if he knew.

Tonight we are celebrating Mother's Day for the Maternal Unit in Juris. It'll be very cool. Big family dinner out. And without the Sunday crowds.

Reminder: If you haven't yet got a card/flowers/gift for your maternal unit and you wish to do so, today is a good day... Tomorrow, the flowers and cards will be completely picked-over and you'll be stuck with "To our Dearest Mother," and the card is only from you... She'll be concerned for your mental health.

Today is also the day I am going to try to get 2/3 of the way through chapter 23. 2/3 23. Get it? ;-) Mr. Viking vows not to marry. The Heroine confronts the Berserker about his betrayal of his people. Plots are afoot for The Big Escape.

And maybe, just maybe, we'll work on Romance Number Two. :-)
