It's on the truck.

It'll be here "by 7p.m."  That's what the tracking notes indicated, anyway.

Now, I know with my common sense that, living where we do in relation to the hub, it is likely that the delivery will take place later, rather than sooner, since it didn't arrive early.  I know that.

I do.

However, I remain agitated. Pacing.  Checking out the kitchen window.  Looking for the truck.  I know, I KNOW, that if I leave off my vigilance long enough to take a shower, they'll show up right then. Right then! And I will not have been available to sign for the packages. I know this. 

Yes, I'm on hold.  Waiting for a phone.  Isn't that ironic?  Just a little?
