All said with enthusiasm and a recognizable "patter" that anyone who has ever ridden The Jungle Cruise will recognize.  I have played videos of athlete-missionaries, interviewed kids for the "play by play" of the Bible story they heard during the main assembly, discussed the stranger aspects of being a missionary and how people wind up doing the oddest jobs as a missionary. (After all, the apostle Paul was a tent-maker!)

I am having a blast. My feet are sore, but can you believe I've actually slept well the past couple of nights?  I am exhausted.  And there are three more nights to go. 

Those of you who have spoken to me over the phone know I can go at a pretty good clip when I'm wound up, so you can imagine how I am when I am "on" for a class at Vacation Bible School.  What really cracked me up last night, though, was when one young lady came up to me before her class started (I teach the same lesson three times in a row to groups of children numbering from 30 to 60, ages 8 through 10) and demonstrated to me how quickly she could talk.  Hey, I like the "competition."

Of course, I do not follow the lesson plans exactly as written (I did try, last night, but wound up with a nightmare traffic jam of 3rd and 4th graders. Yikes.) but when have I ever done that? Beats me.

I don't have a BooYah! catch phrase, sorry, but I guess my personal patter works, too.
