I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship. - Louisa May Alcott

It's not a job...it's an adventure!
Waiting on God is an adventure.

Sometimes, it's a quiet one. Like being on a sailboat on a mild day, gently being propelled forward by a confident hand.

Sometimes, it's an engaging one.  Like hiking on a trail, reading a map and looking for signs along the path.

Sometimes, it's a wild one. Like clinging to the edges of a roller coaster going upside down .  You know you're where you need to be, you know the track is sturdy beneath you, you  know you'll come to a stop eventually... But it's hair-raising right now!

Been waiting on  God, lately. Listening, watching, waiting.  I'm doing what needs doing, but I'm still in a holding pattern from where I sit.

If I had God's perspective, would I be so peaceful? I don't think so.  Only God can handle his perspective.  I am content, truly, to be limited in my perspective.

After years of struggling with it, it's almost a surprise.   An adventure that I am surprised to be enjoying, just from where I'm sitting, without asking to sit shotgun.

God is so very patient with me.

And here's your host!
