Greetings and good morning from the edge of a cowpasture.

I get so annoyed with the phone company. And my own self. Ugh.

We get multiple phonebills, due to the multiple phones (insane), but they're all from the same phone company. So I pay a bill and have a mental thing that says Oh, the bills are paid.

Stupid me.

So I didn't pay the landline. Oops. We were, naturally, disconnected, meaning I lost my internet...the real tragedy. Thing is, when the phone gets disconnected, the phone company sends info to the ISP and tells them...and they cancel our DSL! Is that weird or what? They're not even the same company.

So I REFUSE to pay the HUGE reinstatment fee on the DSL and am contenting myself (not) with extremely limited dial-up service until we move next month.

Which reeks, but that's life here on the cowpasture.

Anyway. Greetings to EVERYONE who has sent me mindsay-messages, e-mails, and even the in-person-conversations (wow, I have them, who knew? lol) who missed me. lol My ego is now fully saturated and I can squish.

SQUISH.

I'm on CHAPTER 28 of The Neverending Norseman. Okay, I should now call it The Unsinkable Molly Brown or something...but I don't want to give anything away. As if? Oh sure. A note to anyone who will still remember when this novel is on the local bookshelves (I can dream!) Mr. Viking does NOT die.

Cyclone wants to be a pyro. He has asked that we set a drawing of his on fire. The burning will commence in about twenty minutes. I will one day relate the story of Canyon Man's controlled burns, for the curious and uninitiated.

Scooter has expanded his world to incorporate playing with another little person. Yay! Let's here it for Son of Mr. Baseball!

The Spousal Unit was NOT reprimanded, nor did I maim him (thanks, Cordelia) for packing my poetry. I'm just going for vague, in that chapter.

Oh dear. Scooter has just come up to inform me of the existence of "pudu." Anyone see Star Wars I? Yeah. So I have to go and clean him up.
