The real art of conversation is ... to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

Something that ran through my brain this morning...

What do you suppose might happen if everyone everywhere tried for just one day to be polite in all aspects of their lives?  Driving courteously, allowing someone to cross in front of oneself, saying "please" and "thank you" for even the smallest things?  Remembering that even children need to be shown all courtesies? 

Do you suppose we could try? 

The Platinum Rule:  Treat someone as you wish to be treated... And go one better.
